Join us for our kickoff meeting with ISBA Youth Leadership Team
Ages 11 to 18 years old

ISBA Youth is a youth led program for young people between the ages of 12 and 18 or those in Middle and High school. Our Youth Leadership Team (YLT) plans and successfully conducts the programs, with the guidance and assistance of adult mentors.

The objective of YLT is to lead various activities to develop confidence and skills needed for college and beyond. They connect with youth of other faiths, exchange ideas, and work together on community service projects. Some of the programs include the 5K run, Interfaith iftar, winter clothing drive for refugees.

This year, we have Harris Shaikh to mentor and guide the YLT team. He has been leading various programs for kids ages 5-14 at ICNEV, most successfully Speechmasters Club, a public speaking program to mentor the kids become confident Muslims.

We encourage the youth and parents to attend our first planning meeting, led by the youth as we put together a list of activities and workshops designed to achieve the objectives of the YLT team. We look forward to seeing you all on:
